How long have you been working with Koenigsegg?

I started at Koenigsegg in June 2016.

Where are you from, and how did you end up where you are at in Koenigsegg?

I came to Koenigsegg from my home in Dijon, France.

I studied marketing and corporate strategy at university, followed by a Masters degree in production management.  While doing my Masters, I also worked in the aviation industry, for a company called Robin Aircraft.  They make bespoke light aircraft, in a similar way to how Koenigsegg makes cars in terms of their exclusivity and customisation.  One of my colleagues there got me interested in cars, and that fascination led me to discover Koenigsegg via the /Drive series on YouTube.  It was while watching those videos that I decided I wanted to work with someone as dedicated and passionate as Christian von Koenigsegg.

I initially applied for a position at Koenigsegg via this careers website and while I waited, I booked a ticket for a factory tour.  When I arrived for the factory tour, I shared my story of having applied for a position at the company and was lucky enough to get an interview opportunity while I was there.  The rest is history, as they say.

What do you do at Koenigsegg?

I work in customer support, within the Aftersales area.  We take care of all existing Koenigsegg owners, to make sure their vehicles are serviced on time, that repairs are done to a satisfactory standard, etc.  It's a great job because you get to focus on both the product and the customer-service sides of the business.

What is the most challenging part of your work?

Situational awareness.

Every car is different and every customer is an individual, with different demands.  Expectations are always high.  Staying on top of everything is a challenge, but a very enjoyable one.

What do you like most about working at Koenigsegg?

The team spirit is great.  We have a small team at Aftersales and Service and that's wonderful, but you're also part of the bigger Koenigsegg team.  What we do is critical for the company so it's important we keep a close link with other areas of the business.

Working with Christian and Halldora has also been the fantastic experience I hoped it would be.  They're an inspirational team.

And the cars - they're pretty cool, too, to say the least.
